About Us

The Inspiring Story Behind Aghogho Sickle Cell Care Foundation

Aghogho Sickle Cell Care Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness, preventing, and managing sickle cell disease in Nigeria. Our goal is to empower individuals and communities to make informed health decisions, advocate for sickle cell warriors, and build a future where sickle cell disease is better understood, treated, and ultimately eliminated.

Our Journey So Far

Aghogho Sickle Cell Care Foundation, formerly known as iTOUCH AFRICA, was founded in 2020 to combat the challenges of sickle cell disease through awareness, education, and advocacy. We were officially incorporated in March 2024, and since our inception, we have positively impacted the lives of over 10,000 people across Nigeria. Rooted in a personal journey of overcoming the struggles of sickle cell disease, our foundation is dedicated to building a future where sickle cell is no longer a burden to individuals, families, or society and ensures access to essential care, ensuring no warrior fights alone.
